ACT WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE (Registration forms in Mrs. Fancher's office)
** We offer a FREE workshop the Thursday before each national test date for our students. The workshop is held on campus from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Students must sign up to attend.
1. ACT Workshop - Hinds CC Raymond - *May not be offered until spring 2011 TBA 8:30 am - 12:30 pm $45 Contact the Counseling Dept. at HCC 601-857-3372
2. ACT Workshop – Holmes Community College Holmes Community College will host ACT Workshops on the Saturday before each ACT test, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on the Ridgeland Campus. The cost of the workshop is $49. Applications will be available in Mrs. Fancher’s office. For more information call: 601-605-3339.
3. ACT Workshop - Mississippi College MC offers separate ACT workshops: 2010 dates TBA Math - - (9:00 - 11:30) Test Mechanics & Reading - Sept. 26 (1:00 - 3:30) Grammar -(9:00 - 11:30) Science -(1:00 - 3:30) Each session will cost $20. 4. FREE ACT Workshop *New Location - Millsaps College ESF will conduct a FREE ACT Workshop on Saturday before each ACT test, from 8:00 a.m. –11:45 a.m. The NEW location for 2009 is Millsaps College in Jackson. Seating is limited! October December January March

| Yearbook Deadlines for 2011 Seniors | 1. Formal Portrait -Deadline Oct. 1- You may schedule a senior portrait with a photographer of your choice, BUT, in order to be included in the school composite, you must have a portrait made by Gray's Southern Image. You are not obligated to purchase any portaits to appear in the composite. If you have portraits made by another photographer, YOU must submit the portrait you would like printed in the yearbook.
2. Casual Portrait - Deadline Oct. 1- Please give Mrs. Specks/Mrs. Ferguson/Mrs. Fancher your 1 choice for the annual.
3. Baby/Childhood Pictures - Deadline Oct. 1 - Please supply 2 baby or childhood pictures. The pictures will be returned if properly identified on the back.
4. Senior Ads - Deadline Nov. 1 - A great way for parents or honor their students in the yearbook. We need these orders by Nov. 1. If you are unsure of a design at this time, you can submit your order including size and payment to reserve your page. Submit order and payment to Mrs. Specks, Mrs. Ferguson, or Mrs. Mason. Order form are available in the office.
5. BIO Sheets - Dec. 14- Activities you have participated from 9th to 12th grades.
Please observe all deadlines listed. If you do not meet deadlines, you run the risk of not having your information or pictures in the yearbook. Mark your calendars!!! |
